Snowrose Poetic Charm   pedigree Lizzie is our newest family member! She was born 7/25/06 and came to us all the way from Washington state. I'm SO grateful to her breeders Dixie Rae, Sue Stockslager, and Shirley Hobbs for letting us sneak off with this exciting girl. I have long been an admirer of her beautiful group winning mother, CH Grangefield Aberdovey Lymric. Lizzie's call name is inspired from poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning. She has fit into our household very easily...she and Leo are best buddies and never far from each other! They often sleep together curled into one big black ball of fur. Lizzie started her show career in February '07 and so far has done very well. In March she was awarded Best of Opposite in Puppy Sweeps by breeder judge Mary Sue Olcott at the large supported entry in Franklin TN. The following weekend she won her first major at the supported shows in Louisville KY. In May, we traveled to the CWCCA National Specialty in Pleasanton, CA and Lizzie did us VERY proud! She won her class in the regular classes under breeder judge Nancy Cunliffe, and was awarded 3rd in her sweepstakes class under breeder judge Cindy Bossi. She also helped her sire win 2nd in the Stud Dog class. Most recently, at the Bluebonnet Specialties in Houston TX, Lizzie was reserve winner's bitch 2 out of 3 days under breeder judges, and was also awarded another Best of Opposite in Puppy Sweeps! Lizzie now has 11 points and both of her majors, and I can't help but be very proud of her. We have attended almost nothing except supported entries and specialties, and she has garnered some very nice recognition from breeders and owners, and lovely wins from breeder judges...even completely out of coat!
